Our Services

Individual Therapy

Therapist offer support to those seeking assistance with a variety of symptoms or stressors. Therapist will honor the therapeutic process by applying evidence based approaches to help guide and support your overall well-being. In individual therapy the client will set the pace and work on goals that have been made in collaboration with their provider.

Family Therapy

Our therapist work with families facing challenges such as parenting struggles, divorce/separation, blended families, and adolescent behavior concerns. Therapist will support families in improving family dynamics, improving communication, and learning to resolve conflicts in a healthy manner. Families will be able to come together and establish healthy ways of living. 

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on helping couples improve their relationship by addressing conflicts, communication difficulties, emotional challenges, and underlying issues. The couple works together with the therapist to explore their relationship with a goal of strengthen the bond between partners to have a more fulfilling relationship. 

Group Therapy

Group therapy is offered where a therapist facilitates the sessions helping group members share their thoughts and emotions in a safe environment. Group therapy often fosters a sense of community, accountability, and belonging where members can offer encouragement, share coping strategies, and develop social skills.

Treatment Methods

At Trust and Believe Counseling, we believe that each individual has a unique journey, and we are committed to using the most appropriate tools and effective therapy techniques to help you achieve your goals. Our therapist collaborate to ensure the therapeutic process provided is empowering and transformative.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. This approach is highly effective for short-term treatment and is known to support treating anxiety, depression, stress and other mood disorders by teaching practical skills for managing negative thoughts and improve emotional well-being.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a psychotherapy technique that is primarily used to treat trauma and PTSD. This type of therapy involves bilateral stimulation through tapping or guided eye movements. The therapist has the client recall traumatic memories while guiding them through bilateral stimulation which helps the brain reprocess the trauma and reduce their emotional response. 

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

 DBT  focuses teaching practical skills focusing on interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness techniques to help manage symptoms. DBT has been shown effective to work with intense emotions, self-harming, addictions, and relationship issues.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

(SFBT)

SBFT is a goal-directed, future-focused approach that emphasizes finding solutions to problems rather than processing or dwelling on past problem. This therapy is often short term and helps clients build on their strengths and resources. 

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is used to help the therapist and client work together to reach their therapeutic goals. This technique has evolved from a person-centered approach which focuses on eliciting change and allows for individuals move away from ambivalence. 

Family Systems Therapy

Family systems therapy views individuals in the context of their family dynamics and relationships. This approach helps families address patterns of behaviors, communication, and conflict that may be contributing to individual struggles, fostering healthier family functioning.

Our Journey to Trust and Believe Counseling Inc. 

Welcome to our group practice of dedicated professionals who are here to support you every step of the way. As Co-founders, we established our group practice after working in various settings including and not limited to the local psychiatric hospital, youth hospitalization intervention program, school district, residential and intensive outpatient programs, community based mental health and eventually private practice. Through these clinical settings, we were able to uncover the gaps in need for services in our local community. 

We come with a combined 20 years of experience, we look forward to being able to offer our services to you. We have witnessed the barriers and obstacles to accessing services and pride ourselves on being able to make the process as smooth as possible.  Let us help you overcome these challenges and find a healthier way of living. We offer telehealth services to those in need and in person options for those who prefer it or are not quite ready to be in person.
